Individualised funding and other disability support service payments are government-backed programmes that pay for services to support people with disabilities. It lets people with disabilities decide what to do with the funding they're given.
Clients are either the person with a disability or their agent, which is often a relative or caregiver. An individualised funding agent is sometimes called an individualised funding manager.
Hosts or IF Hosts are organisations that help individualised funding clients manage their funding. They work for the Ministry of Health.
Service providers are the people who provide services to people with disabilities. They're also called support workers. They can be employees, contractors or private domestic workers.
