Sometimes our customers get emails, calls or texts from people pretending to be Inland Revenue. These scams try to get information or money from the people they are sent to. 

We need to know about these scams to help protect our customers.

If you received a phone call or text scam, email us at the same address as above.

If you are reporting an email scam, forward this to us so we have all the details we need to be able to act on it. 

If you are reporting a phone call or text, include details about:

  • the phone number the scam came from
  • any names or call-back numbers given by the call or text
  • any tax amounts the scam detailed
  • the reference number
  • the information requested.
